Bitwise Asset Management reported over 1.8 billion dollars in net inflows during the first half of 2026, despite a bear market, according to CEO Hunter Horsley. Tom Lee of Fundstrat Global Advisors praised the achievement, noting that the inflows were primarily into products that provide income rather than chasing price increases. Four product lines each attracted over 100 million dollars: ETFs and ETPs, private strategies, staking, and vaults. The vault, launched in January with Morpho, targets a yield of about 6% on stablecoins, while the Crypto Carry Fund yielded 4% with 259 million dollars in assets by late May. Staking saw rapid growth, with Bitwise's Solana staking fund surpassing 500 million dollars within 18 days of its launch. However, the Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF (BITW) saw net assets decline from 1.03 billion dollars at the end of 2022 to 678 million dollars by March 31, a 34% drop, attributed to a 24% decrease in share price and the redemption of 2.25 million shares. Despite a fee reduction from 2.50% to 0.75%, investor withdrawals continued. Bitwise also reduced its workforce from 180 to 155 employees in August.
