Cypher Cards cease spending on Aug. 7, balances withdrawable until Sept. 6

All active Cypher Cards will stop purchases at 00:00 UTC on Aug. 8, making Aug. 7 the final spending day. Users have until Sept. 6 to withdraw balances, claim rewards, and maintain wallet access before Cypher's app and business platform go offline. The termination affects both physical and virtual Cypher Cards, including business cards. Osmosis Pay cardholders are also subject to the same deadlines. Nium acquired Cypher on July 8, ensuring customer funds are safe for fee-free withdrawal. Users can withdraw card balances via the Cypher app, with withdrawals taking 24 to 48 hours to process. All CYPR rewards and protocol incentives must be claimed before Sept. 6, as they will not be available afterward. Self-custody wallet assets remain under user control, and users are advised to back up recovery credentials. Stablecoins can be withdrawn until Sept. 6, but no universal process for unclaimed balances has been provided. The exact cutoff time on Sept. 6 has not been specified.
