Dr. Groot Launches Products in 424 Sephora Stores in the U.S.

LG Household & Health Care's scalp care brand Dr. Groot has begun selling 14 products in 424 offline Sephora stores across the United States. Since the 15th of this month, Dr. Groot has been selling its products in Sephora stores nationwide, following an initial online launch and a limited offline launch in select stores. Dr. Groot entered Sephora's online store in March and conducted an offline launch in over 90 stores in May. With this official entry, the number of offline sales locations in North America has expanded to 424, with display areas designed to attract customer traffic. LG H&H USA previously announced that Dr. Groot would enter Sephora's online store on April 1 and begin offline launches in select stores starting May 15. Sephora serves as a major distribution channel for North American consumers, with the online store providing a way to gauge initial reactions and the offline displays encouraging product trials and repeat purchases. Since October of last year, Dr. Groot has also been available in over 600 Costco stores in North America, and sales on Amazon saw a 153% increase in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year. An LG Household & Health Care representative stated that the entry into Sephora stores demonstrates that Dr. Groot's premium brand value has taken root in the North American market. This entry aligns with the trend of K-beauty brands expanding their overseas offline distribution networks based on online success.
