In July 2026, Ukraine registered 8,814 transactions for the purchase and sale of passenger electric vehicles, which is 10.3% more than in June but 13.4% less than in July 2025. The import of used electric vehicles increased by 27.1%, totaling 3,361 cars. Domestic resales accounted for 5,032 transactions, while new electric vehicles totaled 421. Domestic resales increased by 1.7%, the import of used cars by 27.1%, and sales of new electric vehicles by 4.7%. Tesla remained the sales leader with 2,459 transactions, representing 27.9% of the market. Over the month, the brand gained 17.9%. The top five popular brands included: Nissan - 1,105 units, Volkswagen - 733, Hyundai - 605, Kia - 590. The leader among domestic resales was the Nissan Leaf with 612 transactions, among used imports - the Tesla Model Y with 511, and among new cars - the BYD Sea Lion 06 with 73. Cars up to five years old accounted for 58.8% of transactions. In July, electric vehicles made up 8.3% of transactions with passenger cars. In July 2026, 23,137 used passenger cars were registered from abroad, marking the highest monthly figure since the beginning of the year.
