Former Coinbase Chief Legal Officer and Acting Comptroller of the Currency Brian Brooks has joined the newly formed Institutional Advisory Council of the Axelar Foundation.

随着监管框架逐渐明晰，金融机构已为区块链上的稳定币和其他代币化现实世界资产（RWA）构建了商业应用场景。花旗集团、德意志银行、万事达卡和北方信托等机构在 Axelar 基金会与 Metrika 联合发布的白皮书《机构互操作性》中指出，这些机构在准备创新性全球金融产品时，对连接多个公链和私有链存在迫切需求。
Brian Brooks 曾任货币监理署代理署长，期间负责管理联邦银行体系并领导货币监理署（OCC）工作，监管机构覆盖全美约 70% 的银行业务。他还曾担任 Coinbase 首席法律顾问、房利美执行副总裁兼总法律顾问、Bitfury 首席执行官，并在 MicroStrategy 等知名金融科技和区块链公司董事会任职。
