Fudge Penguin Partners with Kakawau to Enter the Asian Market
Fudge Penguin announced on the 17th that it has formed a partnership with the Asian card brand Kakawau to enter the Asia-Pacific physical collectibles market. Kakawau is a trading card brand that has collaborated with Disney, Marvel, and Harry Potter. Its parent company, Supplay, is a company that plans and distributes physical products based on global brand IPs. Fudge Penguin plans to leverage their distribution network and community infrastructure to introduce the brand to the general public, who may not be familiar with Web3 and blockchain. The upcoming card release will include a base series, limited edition premium serial hits, and 1/1 chase cards. Cards signed by CEO Luka Nets will also be included. Pre-sales of the cards will be conducted through the reservation platform D-Live, with the initial 200 boxes available for early bird purchase at a discounted price. Each box will contain 10 packs and 50 holographic cards. Fudge Penguin stated that through this partnership, it aims to expand its brand within the Asian collector community, offline stores, and live broadcasts.
