In Ukraine, there has been a sharp increase in fuel prices. Over the past week, the average price of A-95 gasoline has risen by 4.3 UAH/L to 80.88 UAH/L, while diesel fuel has increased by 9.34 UAH/L, reaching 88 UAH/L. In some gas station networks, diesel prices have surged by more than 16 UAH/L. The main reason for the increased demand for diesel fuel has been the shift in agricultural exports to road transport. Despite normal supplies, the market is demanding significantly larger volumes. The situation is complicated by the closure of diesel fuel exports from Russia, which has affected supplies from Turkey. The gasoline market is experiencing temporary disruptions caused by the introduction of the E10 standard on July 1, which cannot be produced in the country. Wholesale prices for diesel reach 93-95 UAH/L, while gasoline prices are at 82 UAH/L, with limited offers in the market. Expert Sergey Kuyun warns of further price increases at gas stations, which may exceed 90 UAH per liter in the coming weeks.
