From global chart-toppers like Monsta X, NCT 127 and aespa to the breakthrough rookie stars like MEOVV and RIIZE as well as television phenomenons like Mnet’s Stage Fighter winner Choi Hojung, the completed roster embodies the festival’s primary mission to celebrate K-pop’s past, present, and future to expand it even further into a global sensation this upcoming August 1-3. Like most KCONs, fans can likely expect some surprises or special cameos through the weekend as well, coming to perform across stages, headline exclusive fan events, and participate in different activations all designed to forge deeper bonds between artists and fans. Under the theme of the “KLOVER’S Club Fair,” inspired by the four-leaf clover’s promise of luck and joy, KCON unfolds across four experiential “leaves.” Each leaf functions like its own festival club to spotlight different facets of K-culture beyond music including Korean fashion, beauty, food and literature. KCON producer CJ ENM says it plans to deliver a more “immersive” experience by expanding its on-site and digital experiences. KCON LA will feature multiple stages across its festival grounds — including the Artist Stage, MEET & Greet, X Stage and M COUNTDOWN stage — all giving fans the chance to see and connect directly with their favorite idols, with the X Stage focused specifically on highlighting emerging talent.
