Strategy plans to invest $84B more in Bitcoin through equity and debt. The company holds 553,555 BTC; recent purchases averaged $92,737 per BTC. Targeting 25% BTC yield and $15B gain by the end of 2025. Michael Saylor’s firm, Strategy (formerly known as MicroStrategy), is doubling down on its Bitcoin-first approach with an $84 billion capital strategy aimed at significantly increasing its BTC holdings. The company has announced plans to raise $42 billion through equity and another $42 billion through fixed income instruments to fuel the purchases. As of now, Strategy holds 553,555 BTC, acquired for $37.90 billion at an average price of $68,459. Just last week, the firm acquired 15,355 BTC for $1.42 billion, paying approximately $92,737 per Bitcoin, demonstrating its unwavering confidence in the asset despite its volatility. Weekly Buys and Market Dominance Strategy began a consistent weekly Bitcoin buying spree in the last quarter of 2024 and has carried this momentum into 2025. With these aggressive acquisitions, it now holds over 2% of the total circulating Bitcoin supply, making it the largest public holder of Bitcoin, second only to BlackRock, which manages 570,000 BTC in assets under management (AUM). To support its massive capital initiative, Strategy has already launched a $21 billion at-the-market (ATM) equity offering, securing $6.6 billion through the sale of its Class A common stock. In a recent post on X, Saylor revealed that Strategy has achieved a 13.7% Bitcoin yield and a $5.8 billion gain year-to-date. The company aims to reach a 25% BTC yield and a $15 billion profit by the end of 2025. Saylor’s approach continues to set the pace for corporate crypto adoption, reinforcing Bitcoin’s place as a legitimate treasury reserve asset.
