NBU Prohibits Money24/7 from Providing Financial Services
The National Bank of Ukraine has prohibited companies and services operating under the Money24/7 brand from providing financial and payment services without the necessary authorization. The ban applies to cash currency operations, fundraising, and banking metals, as well as transfers without opening an account. The restrictions extend to Money24/7 internet services, branded branches, Telegram channels and bots, as well as associated companies and individuals. The NBU found that Money24/7 was involved in operations indicative of trading currency values in cash form, fundraising, and banking metals subject to return, and transferring funds without opening an account. Most of the companies associated with the service did not have the appropriate licenses. Companies such as "Money24.7 Agency", "Legion 1913", "JSC 1913", "Knitted Mosaic", "FU "GGHA" and others fell under the restrictions. The ban does not affect cash currency exchange, which "FU "GGHA" conducts based on an active license. The decision to impose the ban was made on August 17, 2026.
