Polymath Partners with Highridge Trust for Tokenized Securities Custody
Polymath is collaborating with Highridge Trust to enhance the institutional custody infrastructure for tokenized securities. Highridge Trust will serve as a qualified custodian for tokenized securities issued on the Polymath platform, holding customer assets in segregated accounts and providing trading support. Tokenized securities are assets that represent rights to traditional financial assets in the form of blockchain-based digital tokens, and the custody system is considered a key infrastructure for institutional participation. As a regulated trust company, Highridge Trust offers institutional custody, tokenization, directed trading, and staking services. Polymath operates the Polymesh blockchain, which supports the issuance and compliance processes for regulated securities, and the core of this collaboration is to build infrastructure that connects the issuance, custody, and trading control of tokenized securities. In the U.S. market, discussions continue regarding regulations and custody requirements for tokenized securities trading. The official news page of Polymath has disclosed related collaboration cases and the acquisition agreement of Polymath by TruGolf Holdings, but the announcement of the collaboration with Highridge Trust has not been confirmed. The acquisition agreement is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.
