As of the morning of August 4, Ukraine does not anticipate the implementation of electricity outage schedules. However, due to the consequences of Russian shelling, residents of seven regions remain without power: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv. Emergency restoration works are ongoing at all damaged facilities, where the security situation allows. Energy workers are striving to restore electricity to Ukrainian homes as quickly as possible. The Ministry of Energy reports that there are no grounds for introducing electricity outage schedules. Consumers are advised to monitor messages from their distribution system operators, as the situation in the energy system may change depending on the consequences of the attacks. Ukrainians are advised to use electricity rationally, including the most energy-intensive household appliances during the period from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, when the load on the energy system is lower, and to limit electricity use during evening hours.
