Claims of fake token migrations have emerged within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Shiba Eternity advisor Mazrael urged users to be cautious, noting that misleading posts were being shared on Telegram channels. Mazrael highlighted that an account named someonesmart was promoting a Telegram group linked to these fake migration claims, emphasizing that this group had no connection to Shibarium or Bone ShibaSwap. He stated that users should only trust information coming from verified official channels. The Shiba Inu ecosystem consists of tokens such as SHIB, BONE, LEASH, and TREAT. Users were reminded to only use the official versions of these assets and not to engage in transactions based on unfamiliar referrals. Mazrael mentioned that no token migrations are currently taking place and that those who have locked their BONE assets on Shibarium should not exchange their tokens for another asset. Additionally, ShibaSwap users were warned not to approve unknown smart contracts and not to transfer their assets to unfamiliar addresses. There is an expectation for a future v2 transition on the LEASH side. Developers have stated that the new contract will not mint new tokens under any circumstances. The distribution of v2 tokens is reported to be done from a multi-signature wallet, but this process has not yet begun.
