SOS Limited shareholders approve 100-fold share increase amid cash decline
SOS Limited shareholders approved a plan to increase the company's authorized share pool from 70 million to 7 billion shares, allowing for potential equity raises after halting direct mining operations. As of December 31, 2025, SOS reported only 3.2 million dollars in cash, down from 228.1 million dollars a year earlier, alongside 802 Bitcoin valued at 70.3 million dollars and 2,949 Ethereum valued at 8.8 million dollars. The company faced a net loss of 97.3 million dollars from continuing operations in 2025, with mining revenue dropping from 9.2 million dollars in 2024 to zero. The approved share increase includes 5.94 billion additional Class A shares and 990 million additional Class B shares, aimed at supporting future financing and acquisitions. Additionally, shareholders granted the board two years to implement share consolidations, starting at a 1-for-2 ratio. Notably, the outstanding Class B shares increased by 2 million without public explanation, indicating a new allotment. The impact on shareholders will depend on the execution of the capital increase and the terms of any future transactions.
