The "Air Force Commander" once again recorded a $83 million net settlement, followed by swiftly opening a $49 million USD long position in BTC.
BlockBeats News, January 28th, according to HyperInsight and Coinglass monitoring, affected by the rapid rise of BTC and ETH in the early morning starting at 4 o'clock today, in the past 24 hours, the percentage of short liquidation on the Hyperliquid platform for the two currencies has both exceeded 80%, accounting for 55% and 32% of the total liquidation scale respectively.
Among them, the largest single liquidation in the entire network in the past 24 hours is still the "Air Force Commander" whale (0xd83...) who suffered another heavy blow at 4:09 am today. The specific information is as follows:
40x BTC short: a total of 2534 coins were liquidated, equivalent to about 22.55 million US dollars. The largest single liquidation occurred at around 88,600 US dollars, amounting to 13.25 million US dollars, which is also the largest single liquidation in the entire network in the past 24 hours.
25x ETH short: about 18,980 coins were liquidated during the same period, equivalent to about 56.94 million US dollars. The largest single liquidation occurred at around 2989 US dollars, with an amount of 11.35 million US dollars.
After the liquidation, the address quickly reversed course, opened a 40x leveraged long position in BTC, with a position size of 49 million US dollars, an average price of 89,400 US dollars, and a liquidation price of 88,290 US dollars. The total position of the account has now decreased from 110 million US dollars yesterday to 49 million US dollars.
This address has long been the largest short seller of multiple currencies, with a total position once approaching 500 million US dollars and has rolled over positions multiple times. However, it has recently suffered large-scale liquidations repeatedly, including approximately 199 million US dollars on January 22nd and approximately 120 million US dollars on January 26th.
