Looking for help with today’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle? Here are some hints and answers for the ... More puzzle. In case you missed Friday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here: Forbes ‘NYT Mini’ Clues And Answers For Friday, May 2 By Paul Tassi Welcome back, folks. It’s not only the weekend, it’s the first weekend of May. Fresh month and fresh face as your NYT Mini Crossword sherpa. I’ve been away a couple of weeks, but I’m back now and we have the biggest crossword of the week to knock down. Let’s get knocking! The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free to play on the New York Times website or NYT Games app. However, you’ll need an NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives. If you need a little help solving the Mini Crossword as fast as possible, read on for all of today’s answers. Spoilers ahead! Play Puzzles & Games on Forbes ACROSS 1- Greiner of “Shark Tank” — LORI 5- Not making a sound — SILENT 7- Super-stoked — PSYCHED 9- Convenience hidden in “get that money” — ATM 10- Indivisible — ONE 11- Eighth planet from the sun — NEPTUNE 13- Sipped on slowly, say — NURSED 14- Mystic with a vision — SEER DOWN 1- Appropriate anagram of 5-Across — LISTEN 2- Mount where Zeus and Hera reigned — OLYMPUS 3- __ league (amateur sports organization) — REC 4- Using staff, rather than outside contractors — INHOUSE 5- Extend across — SPAN 6- $10 bill, informally — TENNER 8- Homeowner’s document — DEED 12- III, in Italy — TRE Today’s Mini Crossword Another pretty challenging Mini Crossword today, especially if you—like me—don’t know anything about “Shark Tank” and thus do not know that it’s LORI Greiner. Of course, 1-Down doesn’t work unless you have 5-Across first, and that could have been QUIET as easily as SILENT, so I just kept skipping ahead to words like NEPTUNE that I was sure about, and SEER that I foresaw as correct. I was also pretty sure about DEED. Then it was just a matter of working backwards and filling in the blanks. I’m underslept and tired, however, so my brain was stubbornly refusing to blast on all cylinders and this one took me 2:56 to complete. How did you do? Let me know on Twitter , Instagram or Facebook. If you also play Wordle, I write guides about that as well. You can find those and all my TV guides, reviews and much more here on my blog. Thanks for reading!
