Ukrposhta Installed 506 Mailboxes, Plans 62 More

Ukrposhta has installed 506 internal mailboxes in 21 regions of Ukraine, allowing customers to receive packages without waiting in line. To collect a package, it is necessary to enter an SMS code on the mailbox panel. The mailboxes are located in post offices and operate according to their schedules. The most mailboxes have been installed in the Kyiv region - 157, Lviv - 49, Dnipropetrovsk - 37, Poltava - 27, Kharkiv - 26, and Vinnytsia - 22. In the near future, it is planned to install 62 more mailboxes, including 30 in Dnipropetrovsk and 24 in the Odesa region. In September, 33 mailboxes are also planned to be installed in the Lviv and Kharkiv regions. The General Director of JSC 'Ukrposhta', Igor Smilyansky, noted that the company will complete the deployment of more than 600 mailboxes in September. Additionally, the company is developing autonomous mailboxes outside of post offices, planning to increase their number to 1,000 by the end of the year.
