The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a resolution under the War Powers Act regarding Iran for the second time, demanding that Trump cease military actions against Iran. The vote resulted in 214 in favor and 208 against. This vote received bipartisan support from a few Republican members, with four Republican representatives joining Democrats in voting for the resolution. In June of this year, the House passed a similar resolution, reflecting the unpopularity of military actions against Iran and concerns among some Republican lawmakers, who may face opposition in the upcoming midterm elections.
