Fomo Tops Pump.fun in Daily Revenue Snapshot

- The main near-term signal is whether Fomo can sustain this lead beyond a single day. Pump.fun still holds a wide advantage over the past 30 days, so the current result looks more like a competitive swing than a confirmed change in category leadership.
- Traders should also watch whether Fomo’s recent product and distribution push translates into repeat activity. The platform’s non-U.S. perpetual futures launch and referral spending suggest it is trying to deepen engagement, not just attract one-time traffic.
- Another variable is onboarding quality. Fomo said more than 68,000 users made their first crypto purchase through Apple Pay, which makes retention and conversion into broader platform usage an important next measure.
Fomo generated about $1.76 million in revenue on Friday, surpassing Pump.fun’s roughly $1.1 million for the same day, according to the figures disclosed in the latest platform comparison.
The comparison comes with an important qualifier: Pump.fun remained the larger business over a longer period. Over the past 30 days, Pump.fun posted more than $57 million in revenue, while Fomo recorded about $17.6 million. That leaves Pump.fun well ahead despite Fomo’s stronger single-day showing.
Fomo describes itself as a social trading platform that combines crypto trading with a social media-style user experience. Users can buy and sell cryptocurrencies through the app and track the transactions of other investors, positioning the product around discovery and participation rather than only execution.
The company also pointed to retail onboarding as part of its growth story. It said more than 68,000 users made their first cryptocurrency purchase through Fomo using Apple Pay, with total transaction volume reaching about $25 million.
Fomo’s recent expansion efforts included a $75 million Series B funding round in June that valued the company at $550 million. It also launched perpetual futures for users outside the U.S. on June 11 and committed significant resources to its referral program, giving the platform more levers to drive activity as competition in speculative retail crypto products intensifies.
Why It Matters
The update matters because it points to sharper competition across retail crypto venues built around memecoins, social features, and fast user onboarding. A one-day revenue lead does not displace Pump.fun’s broader lead, but it does show that newer trading apps can gain traction by combining payments access, social distribution, and derivative products.
It also highlights how platform competition is moving beyond simple token creation or spot trading. Revenue leadership in this segment may increasingly depend on who can convert first-time users into recurring activity across multiple products while maintaining enough momentum to challenge established rivals.
